Wedding Day Management

Wedding Day Management

Do you enjoy planning your wedding on your own, but just need help managing your vendors on your wedding day?

Do you want to make sure that nothing has slipped through the cracks in planning for your wedding day?

Do you want a wedding timeline to help you coordinate your vendors, wedding party and family to stay on schedule for your fabulous day?

This package includes managing your wedding day from start to finish. We will coordinate all of your vendors for the entire wedding day, as well as help you, your family and all of your guests to enjoy every aspect of the wedding!

Approximately 2 (two) months prior to your wedding, you would meet for a 2 (two) hour consultation (sometimes this appointment takes less time) with one of our fabulous planners to discuss everything that will happen on your wedding day, construct an event timeline and get all of the contact information and copies of vendor contracts from you. We request the contracts so that we know what you are paying for and what you expect from each person working your wedding.

From that point forward, three weeks before your wedding we would “take over” as far as following up with vendors on all of your wedding details to make sure that all involved know what time to show up and what is going on throughout your special day. This way you can enjoy the month leading up to your wedding instead of being overwhelmed with so many follow-up phone calls to be made.

In addition, this includes direction of your wedding rehearsal and having an on-site manager/coordinator and one assistant throughout your wedding day (up to 8 hours). We will coordinate all vendors and services for your ceremony as well as your reception to keep the flow of the wedding consistent and enjoyable for all.

At the end of the evening, we will make sure that all gifts are secured and collect any extra items (programs, favors, cake knives, etc…) so that your parents, family members and friends do not have to stay around for hours to clean up after the party ends.

In this wedding day management package, you will receive all of the following elements for your wedding needs.

Final consultation to determine the order of service for your wedding day (up to 2 hours)

Detailed and informative timeline/itinerary for wedding day

Timeline distribution to all vendors at least two weeks prior to wedding

Be Realistic

After you have discussed with your partner, what you want for your wedding. You must do your research on how much everything will cost.It would be nice to just pick a number out of thin air, and say I'm going to pay x amount of money and this for that, but you have to know the actual average price of every element in your wedding. A good website to look into is costofwedding.com this website will help you find the average cost of weddings in your area. The more informed you are entering into a situation, the better off you will be.

How To Create A Wedding Budget pt 2

Talk It Out

After you have taken the first step of being positive, the second thing you need to do is talk everything out with your partner. I always tell everyone to pick 3 things that will be most important to you and your partner. You may only have 1 or 2 things that are important to you, and your partner may have just 1, that's fine. These things you chose could be the food, the decor, or transportation. Once you chose those things you, it will be clear to you what you will spend the bulk of your money on, something to remember is, you spend money on what is important to you.If Wedding cake or invitations or not that important to you, then that is something you can diy or have a family member or friend do. Knowing these things will help a great deal with while you are planning your wedding budget. Knowing what is important to you, about your wedding will also help you stand as a united front against friends, and family members who will try to make you spend money on things that are unnecessary, or not important to you and your partner.

How To Create A Wedding Budget

Be Positive

The first step to creating a wedding budget, is to sit down with your partner and think about what the both of you want for your wedding day. Your attitude during this brain storming session must be positive. You have to think about what you want instead of thinking about what you can't do.

Two things you do not want to think about while you are brainstorming with your partner are, how restricting your finances are, and your families disapproval of your ideas. Thinking about what you can't or should not do, will stifle your ideas and lock you into a box of complacency. What you want to think about is what you truly want for your wedding day, once you have talked out what you want, then you focus on what you can afford. A good wedding professional can give you good ideas to match your wedding desires with your budget.

Wedding Limo Tips

Most Limo Companies Give you a choice of 6 different types of Limos:

1. Luxury Sudan

2. Stretch Sudan

3. 6 Passenger Stretch Limo

4. 8 Passenger Stretch Limo

5. 10 Passenger Super Stretch Limo

6. 12-18 Passenger Super Stretch and Specialty Stretch Limo

Prices Per Hour For These Vehicles Range From $50-$300

When you are calling potential Limo Companies, please make sure you ask about their "all-inclusive" prices, also ask about any extra fees they may charge, like waiting fees, beverages, Fuel Surcharges Etc...

As a matter of fact, while you are asking questions ask them for proof of their required commercial insurance and permits.

The cost of the Limo Company Purchasing Limos, Hiring Drivers, and keeping their vehicles maintained is expensive, that being said, most of these companies can not let you rent a limo for just an hour or two. It is just not cost effective for them.

When You Rent A Limo for a certain amount of hours, That Limo is all yours for that whole agreed upon time. If your Limo drops you off at 2:00 pm and picks you up at 8:00 pm, you still have to pay for the six hours you were not physically in the vehicle. That is, Unless, you and the Limo company have an understanding.

Your Limo Driver, is in the service industry, just like a waiter or a bartender. Your Driver's role is very important, Standard gratuity for him or her is 20% of your total fare. Be sure to ask your Limo Provider if Gratuity is added in to the the total price, if it is not, you are responsible to pay the 20% gratuity.

Most Limo Companies have "Wedding Packages" These packages may look like this - 3 hours $225 for the 6 Passenger Limo, and may include Just Married sign, Red Carpet Roll Out, Beverages Etc.

The most important thing I want to tell you is, please don't make your decision solely on pricing. Remember you get what you pay for,and if you chose the wrong company, you could end up with an old Limo, and An unprofessional driver.

Your tattoo and your wedding.

Here are a few options for covering your Tattoo on your big day.

If you want to get rid of your tattoo permanently there is laser surgery, which is costly and I hear hurts worse than getting the actual tattoo.

For a temporary solution, you could hire a professional airbrush make up artist. They will be able to give you a consultation to answer any questions you may have,The airbrush make up will not come off on your dress, and your wedding pictures will look flawless.

if you are patient and take your time applying it,there is tattoo cover up make up you can apply. Kat Von D's Concealer is $ 25.00 and was made to conceal tattoos, but it only comes in light, medium, and tan shades. So if you are darker than Halle Berry, This product is not for you.I have also heard this product is better for covering dark circles and brown spots then covering tattoos.

Dermablend is good but not perfection- you have to make sure you get the right shade for you,(the darker the skin tone the more product you must use). It works best on body parts that are not rubbing up against your clothing. But has gotten really good reviews.

Cover mark has gotten most of the same reviews as dermablend but it is known to clump up in creases.

As for the tattoo cover up David's Bridal sells uuummmmm NO! Don't do it, it does not have good coverage and rubs off really easy.

Other ways you can cover up your tats are: Gloves, long flowing veils, scarves, chiffon jackets, and shawls.
